Personal Project — Illustration & Animation

Birth of the Algorithm is an exploration of my illustration style, which draws inspiration from the aesthetics of editorial illustration. I'm interested in bringing that visual language into motion, using animation to explore ideas and tell stories beyond a static image.

My work focuses on contemporary themes, particularly our relationship with technology and how it continues to shape the way we live, behave, and interact as a society.

For this piece, I developed the narrative concept and art-directed the overall aesthetic. I illustrated the characters in Procreate, rigged them in Moho, and composited the final animation in After Effects.
